STAGING FAQ'S...
Why stage your home?
Any real estate agent will tell you that the local housing
market is extremely sophisticated and very competitive.
Homeowners recognize the need to maximize value and to
present their homes ahead of the competition. Staging makes
sense for a number of reasons:
You will make more money
- U.S. Housing and Urban Redevelopment research shows that a
staged home will sell, on average, 6% - 10% higher than an
un-staged home.
Reduce
the “days on market” - The longer your home
sits on the market, the lower the selling price will be.
Staging gives your house that competitive edge.
Staging
creates a visual frame of reference - Only
around 10% of homebuyers can actually visualize a home’s
potential. Staging fills the imagination gap and takes away
the guesswork.
Presentation brings in the buyers - Over 85%
of homebuyers search online before visiting a home. Creating
the right first impression is critical in getting potential
buyers through your front door instead of the
competition's.
Your
house will sell faster - Around 50% faster
according to Home Staging Resource. Moving is stressful.
Take advantage of minimizing the headaches and the hassle.
“Too
close for comfort”- As homeowners, we cannot
view our homes objectively. A professional stager can
effectively create an environment that has broad appeal by
seeing your home through the buyer’s eyes.
Less “Do It Yourself”-
When you are moving there are countless things to think
about. A professional stager can manage your home
transformation from start to finish. It pays to spend –
According to a 2007 Home Gain Survey of 2,000 real estate
agents, professional home staging yields an average return
of 343% of the actual staging costs. Staging pays for itself
and more.

will take longer and will depend on the contractors' time
lines.
